Twitter/X will test X Premium with three tiers

Elon Musk’s X Corp., giving bankers an update on efforts to reinvigorate growth, said that it’s testing three tiers of premium service, which would allow the company to charge customers different amounts depending on how many ads are shown.

The premium plan, which currently costs R144.99 in South Africa per month, would be split into Basic, Standard and Plus variations as part of the effort, the company told debt holders during the briefing Thursday, according to a person who dialled into the call.

I do not see any ads on that platform - best decision ever.
 
I see most media outlets still use the name Twitter in their headlines as the name still holds some value. Like an X girlfriend you going to have to let go at some point.
 
Just dropped the Twitter name already. Everyone by now knows it's X

Then again x.com still redirects to twitter.com :unsure:
 
Anyone know the pricing or can we assume that the current price will be for basic and the new greater tiers will be some bonkers $99 and $299 thing? The "verification" badge I'm sure will reflect a tier likely too. Show Musk how much you love free speech now :laugh:
