I am almost certain that this can be done with a linux box, but which linux/firewall will be the best for this solution?

There's no distribution and default network setup available that will do that for you automatically.

You can try and see if any of the Smoothwall users ( www.smoothwall.org ) have done this. Problem for SA users wanting to do this is the sad fact that everywhere else you'd just get 1 faster line...

Try IPCop.org ...i have been using it for about 2 years now very stable and it has great support not to mention addons....it is based on smoothwall (less bugs).
It is like upgrading from a celeron to a genuine intel or amd 64 ;)
There is 2 other distros that might sort you out censornet and MNF by mandriva/mandrake....the last 2 are more for heavy use and takes longer to tweak.
ps . do a google search for linux ethernet bridging :D ..in theory you could bridge 2-3 adsl lines into a single pipe...blah...blah..blah

cool thanks

I will give ipcop a try nothing better than more options
