With a smart plant food tailored to growing date palm, SABIC is helping farmers increase yields as much as 30% and produce a crop of more consistent quality and quantity even in soil that produces fluctuating harvests.
 
SABIC is helping world farmers grow more crops with less water.
In arid areas, our collaborations with agribusiness, government and growers are helping produce bigger harvests with limited water usage.
At the SABIC-operated agri-research center Estidamah, we have been able to grow tomatoes with only 7 liters of water per kilogram compared to 345 liters per kg in traditional open fields and 200 liters in low technology greenhouses.
 
While ordering SABIC material online the "Availability Check" shows in real time the availability of the material on the required delivery date. Several documents can easily be retrieved from the Portal like Order Confirmations, Certificates of Analysis or Invoices.

In a country like South Africa which has a limited water resource we need companies with like this which has the experience of supplying water to the agriculture and for public use and to develop ways to use water to the optimum
