Two held after hold-up with toy gun

Cape Town - Police on Wednesday said their quick response to a crime alert resulted in the arrest of two suspected robbers, who used a toy gun to rob a fast-food shop.

“Shortly after three armed suspects perpetrated an armed robbery at a fast-food outlet at Value Centre Goodwood last night, two of them were apprehended due to the swift response of SAPS (South African Police Service),” said Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut in a statement.
