Hi all,

I am not sure if I heard this right, is it possible for me to have my own account with a separate ISP so that I can use it for my personal things and switch to the business ISP for my companies stuff on the same line, computer etc? I know we are going for uncapped adsl but I do not want to be monitored all the time on the site that I visit.

Yes. Set your router to bridge mode, and you will be able to connect each PC individually using Windows Networking

Can i do the same thing split between a PC and PS3? Leave my PC to download on one ISP and play PS3 online through another?

Hi

I have one of those Telkom routers do not know the name think it is mega something!

Anyway all I did was go into my modem just entered my username/password for my isp in my case my uncapped connection just like normal didnt change any settings

Then I went to my PC and created a dialup connection put in the details of my capped account .

now when I need uncapped I dont dial up and when I need capped I dialup.

My ps3 is connected to the modem so it just uses the uncapped.

Hope this helps

This.

dont mean to hijack the thread, so u saying u can have your uncapped ISP details on the moder/router and then create a PPPOE for the capped on the PC.
reason i asking i created 2 seperate PPPOE connections for both ISP. Can any router do this , im ussing Netgear DG something.

Well it works for medont really know a lot about routers but the one I use is a Telkom Mega 100wr
Maybe try it with yours and see if it works

Good Luck
