Two phone number & one sim card?

When I took out a business contract with One2One (now T-Mobile) in the UK, they gave me two phone numbers linked to one sim card.

It was fantastic, because I used the one number for business during the day, then blocked all calls to in in the evening & used the other number for friends.

I'm sure we can do something like that in SA?

Now do family contact you during the day using your business number because your other number is blocked or can you call to both number during the day?

You could call to both phone numbers during the day, but my friends normally phoned me after work, so it worked really well.

I had the facility in Botswana with Mascom but did not use it.

As far as I know the local networks are not as advanced as to offer this service

I saw kits on internet, you can DIY your own multi number sim upto I think 32 numbers on one single sim......

Sorry it's long time ago and those links are in Chinese.....Try search on ebay I think those people also sell these kits there (in English).... keywords '16 in 1 sim' or '32 in 1 sim'....

Knowing how SA Networks operate, the service will probably cost an arm an a leg should they implement it.
