Two Player PC games

Hey Guys

After battling to get my PC's at home to be hooked up - I finally sorted it out.

Now I am wondering which are the cool games that one can play as a two player multi-player.

I assume that any game that was ported to PC from XBox or PS3 would be cool - or am I wrong.

Any gendre will do - will just have to be a bit careful of the SNL though.

I have played almost every new game in the past two years but up to now never bothered about multiplayer.

Let me know if you think of some good ones that you may have played on XBox or PS3.
 
Good Question

Is it possible to play Gears of War Co-op over the net??
 
Fifa soccer works well, quake obviously (or anything similiar). Also a paintball game by the name of Gotcha....
Depending on your Pc specs, most racing games works well too

For me the best game in co-ed , just two/more guys playing together was DiabloII.

I think most recent games have started to be more of online multiplayer games..

IS Army of Two coming to PC/on PC already? That'd work :)
 
A bit of old school Warcraft 3 perhaps?

Generally, with 2 players, its best to look at strategy games.
 
Games i have played at home against/with my gf

Diablo II LOD
Titan Quest and expansion
Dungeon sige 1, 2 and expansion
Flatout 1 and Flatout 2
StarWars Battlefront ( rest of team fills in as bots, great fun )
Battlefield 2 to a limited extent in co-op mode.....good to both fly in chopper and just play as u want
Far Cry has a co-op mod, a bit buggy, but its playable
Doom3 with Last man standing mod....you can play classic doom, LMS mod, or even teh Doom3 campaign co operatively....really cool that :)

The need for speeds etc....

Most games have a multiplayer part, but your diablos, titan quests and dungeon sieges are good fun co-op.

Far Cry and Doom 3 co op are also some of my favs
 
Gears of war me and my friend played it Sunday co-op mode it's one of the best co-op games i ever played. U can also try serious sam got also cool co-op gaming.

Over Internet or network? me and my friend want to play it over the internet, i have the game already,but he doesn't want to buy it unless you can co-op over the internet

On lan soz.. not over internet dunno if u can play it co-op over internet.

Vietcong has an awesome co-op mode. Good times!
 
rainbow vegas 6 and gears of war is awesome when playing over my home network.

I also tried crimes of war - very nice. Like the sound effects.

I am going to be on the lookout for the game called gotcha - that sounds like fun.
