Two Routers For A WiFi Range Extender?

There are 2 ways of "extending" the range, the first way is to "pickup" the current router's wifi signal, and re-broadcast it futher, or, putting a network cable in between. The second option will work the best, just be sure to give the second device a static ip, and disable dhcp.

Then give the SSID the same value, and choose the same key and encryption. Use a app like wifi analyser to scan for current wifi networks ( like neigbours ) and then choose seperate wifi channels for this devices (out of 1, 6, 11) thats not overlapping. If there are other networks, overlap with weakest ones.

I don't think that Trendnet dvice is a extender, think it's only AP, so cable should be used.
