Morning all,

Just wanted to ask how many of you have 2 or three jobs. I've been offered another job (part-time) and between my usual 9-5 and school, I barely have time for hobbies never mind another job.
So my question is how do you guys with more then one job do it? No sleep? No social lives? The experience will be really valuable in the long-run so I'm stumped at what to do.

OT: My friend didn't get fired but was asked to no to sleep in the bathroom again,

I do 2 jobs currently. And I commute quite heavily and use that time to study. And I have a family. It depends what kind of work you're going to be doing, is it based onsite or off? And how are you with time management? We've managed to sustain this for a while now so it's doable, but it isn't easy.

Man, i have no idea how you manage to do this.
I am trying to balance just 1 job with studying. My wife is understanding, but i cant imagine its easy on kids.

Depends on the jobs. If you are earning as a professional then you may be required to work unpaid overtime by your job so committing after hours to a second job may not be wise. On the other hand I have heard of plenty of people who worked more than one job for a period to make ends meet. Often the one job will then be weekdays and the other weekends but it all depends. Personally I struggle to see how you could maintain work life balance in that kind of scenario which is probably more important.

Totally depends on the job, bar tending vs writing a column review for a magazine have different pros and cons.

Edit: As cius points out, make sure there is no potential clash.

Ya ... it's pretty tough.

Well, I spend around 2:30 a day on the bus so that time I can get in a large amount of study. But I get in about an hour with the kids a night and I don't work EVERY night. Basically the main thing is taking care of MrsC - if she feels neglected then the whole thing takes too much of a strain.

I have 4 different jobs. I happen to be a director at each of them though...

Understand about Balance and possible burning myself out. I make enough money from my day job but I'm a contractor and the second position is also on contract. The experience like I said will put me on the fast track to great positions but still mulling over the ends justifying the means.

Not too good at time management but I do manage. Currently it's 8-4(work);6-9(School) and when I can Kendo and Squash. Social life has taken a bit of a dive but my friends are understanding and some myBB members have invited me to events :)

Two jobs. The one is the full time job and the other is part time post-grad lecturing. Difficult yes. But I enjoy giving class and giving back my knowledge, so it isn't a burden, but more a passion that I get paid for.

I also have a personal business project that is kind of a third job. I might require some developers for it later, but until I get the concept and funding sorted, it is still a project.

No can do, I'm afraid. I'm currently being mentored myself...
Well when you become the master, I'm available to be the apprentice. Rule of 2 comes to mind

How do you juggle? Not going to be imparting knowledge but learning a lot and earning some coin along the way. They have offered to extent the offer for a week and have said I can possibly work off-site.
