Hehe, I wish it was as simple as that!

Surely Telkom would complain about this? Their track record leads me to believe theres a law that prohibits this.

Only if we are going to resell it.

But if I will install it on my private property, and use it for myself
and maybe mount a WLan connection to someone else, wtf will they do ?

AFAIK, at least one of SA ISPs is currently using such technology, and it works quite ok. no one is going to tell you which isp is it tho...
