Hi all, has anyone heard of Tyndall Shock absorbers? They are half the price of Monroe but I am am worried they are half the quality.

never heard of it unfortunately.

Most place I checked only kept Gaberial or Monroe.

They're a Grandmark International product, and apparently have a 5 yr warranty.

Grandmark make Bosch wiper blades, spark plugs etc etc... plus many hudreds of other products.

Thanks:) Think i might give them a try. Will save me R1600 on the front 2.

So I got the Tyndall shocks put in. They are well worth it for the price. The ride is much better than it ever was. I am impressed. Thanks for input ToxicBunny :)

Any updates? My local auto parts store recommends Tyndall and the price difference is attracting me to purchasing them versus other brands. Thanks in advance.

Hi There

I would NOT go for Tyndall shocks

They are really ****

Second time I fitted front shocks within 3 months of the first fitment - and not even 3 weeks later the front shocks have failed again!!!! My car Hops all over the road -
My Car's shock mountings everything is fine - I just heard the fitment centre saying its **** shocks

SO, RATHER pay the extra for Monroe and put in what is better - that sitting with the apples I am today!

Good luck
