Windows already had dictation with which you can "type" documents, I have tried it once and it worked albeit not very well.
Microsoft's machine learning doesn't come close to Google's, and is unlikely to do so. Google own this particular AI space for some time to come, although MS will get their natural language AI working soon. Just, they'll always be a few steps behind Google on this...http://googledocs.blogspot.co.za/2016/02/type-edit-and-format-with-your-voice-in.html

The more you use it, the better it gets. Exponentially. It's truly remarkable technology and is busy changing the world - by attrition of relevance...Windows already had dictation with which you can "type" documents, I have tried it once and it worked albeit not very well.
Actually there's a powerful software called dragon natural speaker that allows you to teach your windows os your accent then fully use your PC based on your voice commends including any plugged external drive.Poor people with heavy accents![]()
