I read about Dr Brink who's land cruiser tyre burst (he thinks it burst) then he lost control, car rolled, some places that road is 2 meter higher than the veld. Also 2 children died and the wife got heart bad. I wonder if their safety belts were on.
Me front tyre burst once, car went normal, I just remove foot from the petrol and stop so.
What do you think

There are many factors here to consider. Speed, load, road quality, was it in a bend, did he try overcorrect. Trying to do 120km/h round a corner and your tyre bursts, is likely to result in a different scenario to travelling on the N1 through Colesburg where the road is so flat and straight you could almost lock your steering and take a nap.

Different cars also react differently.
High profile big tyres on a Cruiser will have a lot of drag if they deflate. Low profiles on a sports car will have a lot less. Lower CoG on the sports car means less chance of rolling, as well.

I had 3 tyre blow outs on my BMW I used Pirelli Pzero Nero's was told it could not handle the heat we experience here. All three times car came to a stop without much drama. I would account that to the safety system that the car has to cater for situations like this IMO. I had a front left tyre blow out on a Opel Rekord once alongtime ago and that was scary car pulled hard left had to fight the steering to bring it back inline and stop safely.
