Tyre damage caused by road construction

So today Im driving on N1 N around the construction that is happening before Jean Avanue off ramp. The road is highly uneven on the right lane in such a way that it created two huge holes on my run flat tyres. And at the same time there were two other cars who were having trye problems in the same place as well and one guy was even taking pictures of the road.

Is it possible to claim for such damages from the construction company?

Don't bother - spend your time productively somewhere else. It will save you tons of frustration for so little compensation.

I did it successfully when my mirror was cracked because of road works on the N1. Group 5 paid me out R7k

I spoke to sanral, completed the docs they asked me to complete submitted the quotes and waited, and waited and waited. About 3months later, group 5 called and told me to come sign some papers to release the funds and voila. Never expected it but what an awesome surprise.

I've had them replace a few windshields and 2 front fog lights that were damaged when they were busy with the major construction works on the N1
