I bought a car and it came with the wrong spare wheel... I've now bought a replacement one from a scrapyard and plan on selling the one I initially got as it's just here doing nothing.

Now I know that the hole spacing is different on various cars so I'm not sure how to advertise it other than saying it's a 14" rim.

If anyone can please explain all details with regards to the photo, that would be great. If you know what car its from, even better!

Just advertise as 165/65 R14.

Hole spacing isn't any different on the same types of car that it would fit, so no need to worry about that really.

But you could mention the ET43 offset if you really want to. Anyone who is really keen will identify it from pictures.

Might be good to measure the hub size (the hole in the middle) and at that. Unless that is what the 45 (is that what it says?) on the right is although that seems a bit small.

Looks like the pcd is 4x100.
Woild help if you say what car it's from.

The important factors when selling tyres and wheels are:

Diameter: eg 14"
Width: eg 7j (= 7")
Pcd: eg 4x100 (bolt holes and their spacing)
Offset: eg et43 (basically the distance from the centre line of the wheel to the mounting face)
Hub size: eg 74mm

Tyre size: 165/65/R14
Don't forget to add how tread is left in the tyre.

In addition but not normally indicated is the load and speed rating. In this case the load rating is 79 with a speed rating of T.

Or you could just say spare wheel for a kia picanto etc. ;)

If the spare wheel doesn't fit his car, perhaps the OP doesn't know what car it comes from.

With 4 bolts it will be one of the small cars (i10, Micra etc) but it can also be from a trailer. Just do what SauRonZA said.
