Tyre Size Compatability

Hello

I have a spare set of 195/50/15 tyres and need to find out if I can use them on my existing 185/60/15 rims

My current set of tyres tread is just about gone

Rim width will determine if they physically fit.

185/60/15: 5 - 6.5inch wide rim
195/50/15: 5.5 - 7inch wide rim

The 195/50/15 will be roughly 5% smaller in circumference and therefore your car will be going 5% slower than your speedo indicated previously.

There might be a slightly harsher ride due to the decreased sidewall height.

Didn't think make of car mattered but its a Hyundai I20 - 2010 model

my car has 165/60 R14 and I want to fit 165/65 R14, is this a good idea?
