Tyre Tubes

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find some truck tubes ?

I have an upcoming hiking weekend in Mpumalanga that has a river whereby you can use those round tubes, I called around and they actually not readily available anymore. Tyre places don't stock them...Does anyone have a contact/connection that can help me out?

Do you know how heavy tire tubes are? Its going to be a killer in a hikang bag. But if you insist maybe try one of these types or a lylo:

Dunno what area you are in, but a quick gumtree scan shows several ads across JHB and CT. There's probably more.

If it's for going down rapids on the hike, then tubes are your answer. If it's for traversing long stretches of water I've found a pool noodle works better (easier to carry on the rest of the hike)

Thx guys, will follow up on the leads ...won't be carrying the tubes on the hike , will be left at base camp and used there on the river upon return from the hike ..no rapids but river is flowing and there are also nice swim / float spots so plan is to take advantage of the river using the tubes.
