I updated my phone with the official WM6.1 update, and my reception now is really s#it. The gps also takes forever to locate satelites(3-4 mins), whereas previously it would get a fix on sats in under a min.

Anybody have an answer to this?

I've been on 6.1 for a while now and don't really have any problems, although my GPS fixes have always been slow.

Hi Johnny,

Have that same problem, found that signal accessability is gone when phone kicks it up to 3G, no HSDPA reception anymore.

I nearly blew it yesterday so I changed (Under settings, phone) The Network to manual and the band to the low GSM.

I now just have EDGE but at least I can make a call when ever I want, no more "call ended"

My battery life also reduced drastically, but with the adjustment, the life is back to normal now. Looks like what ever they upgraded has kicked a lot of higher-end phones of the 3G band.:(

Hey guys

I noticed that the auto settings that get sent to the TytnII automatically disable HSDPA everytime you start the phone. There's a startup program you need to delete to stop this from happening. Also, is your QuickGPS enabled and has it been able to download the latest data? My GPS takes less than 30 seconds to connect.

I do however agree that the 3G and HSDPA signal strength is disappointing. It seems to try and hang onto the "faster" connection even when you hardly have any signal strength
