Hi all,

I am struggling to find information on how to get my TyTn and push email to work. I previously had a Blackberry and it was working. So the service is enabled at Vodacom for my contract.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need the BBC cab file ........... what ROM are you using ?

ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Hermes/Tools_and_Programs/BlackBerry_Connect

I don't use CrackBerry as the knobs at the helpdesk could not explain to me how to get it set up.

Give us some feedback if you get it working. ;-) OK ?

Do you have an Exchange server ? Is it Exchange 2007 ? If so then you should do it that way, but you will also need WM6 to maintain HTML mail.

I use emoze push mail which is available for most smart phones and pda's.

www.emoze.com It is "Mahala" and works.

Takes care of contacts, calendar & mail.

Most of the the TyTN people are hanging out over at MTN thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?p=1090705#post1090705 , yours will get bumped to Cellular phone section pretty soon.

My ROM version is 1.35.255.2

On my blackberry I had vodacom email address ( @mobileemail.vodafonesa.co.za) that pushed the mail to my blackberry. I would just forward my normal email account to that address.

I see, so you are still on WM5 the last release from Leaf.

So that is how they do BB ........ you might as well just get a Mail2Web free account.

I just hate being that reliant on a single provider.

You could get the same result sending everything to your MSN / Hotmail account on the TyTN.

Or even the Gmail Java app ............
