UAE - Dubai 2019 Visa

Hey all,

I have seen many old threads around Dubai Visa's and the sorts and are ready to process our application through Emirates which is relatively quick and easy. We are flying on the 28th of November.

I was however wondering if anyone has seen any updates regarding the Visa free travel to the UAE as mentioned earlier this year?

Emirates still however lets me choose a holiday visa and process the payment for it? Im really a bit lost in this regard and if anyone has trevelled recently that has insight on this it would be great? If I could save R1400 odd for that and have more spending I would obviously much rather have that outcome.

No experience in this but those articles speak about people from the UAE visiting SA for free, not necessarily the other way round?

Im a real reading nOOb jeez, my English has failed me lol. Many thanks for that @Sepeng, I swapped the logistics of this around completely and didnt notice its to SA and that they are in talks to have it bi-directional still.

I am also flying to Dubai in December and planning to apply for UAE visa soon.
It looks like the arrangements for reciprocity are still in talks.
