Uber Booking

Well, I've dealt with subpar drivers.

Looks like in your case, owner gave a newly licenced chap.
 
My driver this weekend had a passenger.
Told me he had to drop the passenger and then will start the trip from drop off point which is closer to my destination than where he picked me up so I agreed thinking it would save me some bucks.

He started the trip from where he dropped off his passenger but when I got my receipt, the trip from point A-C was billed and his detour actually resulted in a higher cost.

All I did was add that as a comment on my rating and then got an email back shortly after saying that the full trip was reimbursed and a very nice apology.

I actually just wanted that detours money back but ended up getting the full trips fair back and by the looks of it, that driver might be in some trouble too :/

Never had a problem with my drivers.
Same. Some of them even offer us bottled water when we get in the car. They've always been well-presented, friendly & professional. Was once a bit late to get somewhere and the driver put pedal to the metal :).

Sometimes I'll get a super chilled out guy who and other times I'll get a mad max driver :D

I have had two complaints since they discontinued uber black in durban :(

And today was a 3 star rating for:

1) Not offering to turn the aircon on
2) Not asking me if the radio station he was singing to was okay
3) The car stank
 
I tried when it was in Cape Town - kept on say "Car is occupied" or something like that. There's only 1 car, and trips are limited to 5km. Good luck actually getting a ride :).

...sounds like a good way for Uber to get surge pricing into play :twisted:
