Uber down in Cape Town?

Hi

I'm getting an issue connecting to Uber. It keeps giving me the following message:
Sorry for the trouble connecting,
We should have you moving shortly.

Wonder if anyone else has the same issue. Been having this for the last 20 mins.
I've checked my data connection is fine as I can browse the web.

Working in Durban. I noticed an update today, did you install it?
 
Yeah. I did update today. Maybe that caused an issue.
Had to take cab and had interesting conversation with the driver. He says lots if the cab drivers are leaving the traditional can companies as Uber is better for the drivers.

He said the cab companies charge the driver for the trip at about 30 to 40 percent so about 3-4 rand per km but they also include the kms from the location where the driver is to the pickup point. Whereas the customer only pays for the trip from the pickup point.
