I have an Uber car. I've had an informal agreement with my driver for months but I'm in the process of getting another driver and Uber has advised me to get a formal contract in place.

Does anyone know where I can find a contract of this nature or who I can speak to that can write one for me?

How does the Uber thing work with regards to hours? Do you simply work when you want to work or is there a minimum number of hours required?

Are there specific car criteria?

Wouldn't uber have default contracts that they can supply, they should know best considering how much experience they have in the business?

I spoke to Uber Support about it and they said that they don't get involved in the partner / driver relationship. That's why they have recommended recruitment agencies for partners to find drivers.

My laywer recommended that we use a meter taxi driver contract. I'm trying to see if we can find one or I'll use one of the contract lawyers he recommended.

Yes and No.

Need something outside the 9 to 5? As an independent contractor with Uber, you’ve got freedom and flexibility to drive whenever you have time. Set your own schedule, so you can be there for all of life’s most important moments.

Not 100% sure. Some sites say maximum 10 years old some say 4 years old. Vehicles have to pass inspection be insured ect
