Ubuntu LiveCD question

yes Ubuntu's bootmanager grub will allow you to boot anything, easiest done if you install Ubuntu last. It will allow you to select any OS from a list when you boot.

Well I give up, I got the iso bwana suggested, burned it to CD,booted from it and no mouse and the only key that seems to do anything in Ubuntu is Enter. Ah well at least I tried.

Thats strange, I have never had a machine where the live CD would not work and I have tried quite a few. I have had the 800x600 story but no other problems.

My desktop and my laptop would be 2

All other ones I've got/had worked though. It has to be my luck :D

My desktop is a C2D E6600, 2GB DDR2, Nforce 680i, 8800GTS.

My laptop is a standard Acer Centrino platform notebook with ATI graphics.

I have downloaded Ubuntu Christian Edition a while ago.

On my Compaq Presario 2700 laptop it works fine from the live CD. Also, SuSE Linux absolutely rox on this lappy!

live cd was fine for me. im using ubuntu more and more these days...
