Ubuntu or Windows Vista, which do you prefer?

Considering that Windows 7 isn't an option, I would say Windows Vista. I HATE Ubuntu with a passion.

Dual boot, WIN 7 and Ubuntu

Vista is ***, WIN 7 is really nice for my games...thats it!
Ubuntu I use for my real software work, browsing (no antivirus needed) and multimedia.
By installing a few extra packages, Ubuntu is just as pretty, if not sexier to work on that WIN 7. The main drawback for anyone wanting to leverage the power of a linux desktop though, especially those who've been Windows brainwashed since they were 2, will find it a bit bumpy at first, to make the switch, but a good ubuntu/linux manual and a bit of time on the ubuntu forums will get u up and running quite fast. I feel more secure in Ubuntu, but I have to hand it to MS for once, for making a very stable windows version thats actually useable and appealing. However, mission critical software and systems ALWAYS run on my Linux PC, it doesnt get more secure or stable for that type of processing.

On a beefy desktop, I'd have Windows. Although I'll take Windows 7, thanks.

On a notebook/netbook or ****ty desktop, I'd have Ubuntu.
