UC.exe

SO has this Trojan on her laptop.

What is the best method to remove it?

Recovery has not worked. Malwarebytes has not worked.

It asks for permission to take control of "something" on the laptop (everytime it starts up).

Theres tons of ways to remove it. Im assuming you running windows 10.

Boot into safe mode and manually delete it in the program files folder, look for BADU folder.

If thats giving you **** then I would boot off a rescue cd or flashstick and delete it manually that way.

Its a persistent little turd.

There are very few pieces of malware that you need to do a reinstall to get rid of.

What AV is currently on the Laptop?

Boot with Ubuntu live CD/flash drive.
Mount windows drive
Search for UC.exe - delete it then replace it with a empty txt file renamed as UC.exe

Combofix, Adw, Eset and Malwarebytes did the trick
