Udacity Nano Degree

Hi

Im not sure if this has been covered before.

I am interested in doing the android nano degree that Udacity is offering, But my question is will having the nano degree hold any value in the job market? or would self publishing an app on the playstore be a better option? I'm assuming both is better route.

Like you mentioned both would be great so you could perhaps build a few apps while you are doing the course?

If pushed to do only one thing, building a real world app would be better.

Agree with shauntir; except to say: you build experience by writing lots of code; reading every article you can find and watch out for the obvious code smells.
