Is there any benefit to having UEFI?
I just bought an Acer S7 392 and you can imagine the amount of bloatware that came with it.
I decided to install a fresh copy of Windows 8 from my flash drive to the 2 SSDs that is in Raid0 format.
For my machine to boot from the flash drive, I had to set the bios to legacy mode instead of UEFI.
I then deleted the array and created a new partition in Raid0.
Installed windows from the flash drive, everything works perfectly while in legacy mode.
It does not find my flash nor my HDD when in UEFI mode, so is there a benefit to UEFI in this setup?
