UHD Television buying advice

Apologies if this isn't the correct forum.

After 10 years with the same TV I want to upgrade to a new UHD 55" inch.

My budget is about 15K. I mostly use my TV for movies and gaming. I don't really like the new curved TVs.

I am currently looking at the following sets:
Samsung UA55KU7000
LG 55UH770

Any recommendations on which to buy (or alternative)?

just bought the samsung and i love it. when i was looking, i compare the LG and HiSense (around R10k) and liked all 3, but eventually settled on the samsung. picture quality is amazing

That exact LG is on special for R12000 at Game.

Buy something with HDMI 2.0, and HDR, and HDCP 2.2 (or higher).

HDMI 2.0a - you want the revision. I think (hope) that this is a firmware update for devices with HDMI 2.0 as I assume same hardware (I haven't checked)
