Unemployment Insurance Fund Contribution Ceiling Increase – 1 June 2021

The UIF contribution ceiling has been increased from R14 872 to R17 712, effective from 1 June 2021.

In short, if you earned below the previous cap, you not going to pay any more. If you earned more than the old cap, you will now pay more as the cap has been increased to R17 712

You be paying R28.40 more pm cause they raised the cut off salary to R17 700 and something.

Well, they increased the benefits a lot about 3 years back, and now covid hit, and they haven't increased it for a few years.
