UIF maternity benefit

Hi all

Has anyone been successful claiming your UIF maternity benefit over this lockdown period?

We have applied via U-filing with no response to date since May

Tried calling the call centre and regional labour centres including emails with no luck,

Please advise

Yes, we did the u-filing which just didn't get anywhere. We then looked for every officials number in any of the media articles regarding uif and basically asked for their help or if they could put us in contact with someone. In every message via WhatsApp or email to them, we stayed the uif reference number and someone in the dept eventually sorted it for us in a few days
