UIF Payments

Hi all, I've recently started a business that is trading and paying salaries but I can't register to pay UIF on u-filing because the site fails to "Vet" me. I've spent hours on the phone with the call centre holding music and I'm about to lose my sense of humour.

Has anyone had a similar experience and/or can offer me any advice?

My wife had the same problem. In the end she paid one of these companies that register it for you.

Pay it to SARS on your EMP201.

You still technically have to go through the process of registration with the UIF and do your submissions to the UIF, but let SARS handle the money side. UIF are absolutely useless, so DO pay SARS while your UIF registration is pending.
