huh clearly you haven't been to Sonoran desert, recorded a chilly 81 degrees, technically with regards to average temperatures death valley is the hottest place on earth, more or less (it is disputed) with average summer temperatures of 47 and winter temperatures of 34 degrees.

But dry heat is significantly different to places that has high humidity. Dubai has an average of 23 grams of water per cubic meter with 38 degrees, you will feel like you are dying. Singapore has the highest overall humidity year round. You have a higher chance of getting heat stroke in these humid places as sweat does not evaporate well, trapping the heat of your body and making it even worse.

Comparatively African weather in general is quite mild............

Valid points, but this thread is about data centers not humans, and machines don't care about humidity...
 
Those chops do not have cooling. Just use the outside air to cool the kit. It just a fan.
So cooling system outages is a bit rich when they don't have a system that actually cools....
