Hello all.

Can someone point my in the right direction or a thread on mybb regarding this topic?

Thanks.

Short story: Born in SA, father born in UK. Got a few questions, well more than a few.

One for starters: Is this company legit: ?

Any insight, recommendations will be helpful, thanks again.

Why use a company when you can just do it yourself? Download the form, use the nearest Consulate?

Edit: You can even apply online https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports
Okay. I live in PE. Don't really want to go to Pretoria, JHB or CT or Durban.

PE has "UK Visa Application Centre Port Elizabeth" in Ring Road (shout out to all the PE peeps) Could go there and ask, but thought I would ask here 1st. I am almost 42, my dad was born in 1944 in UK.

I applied for and renewed mine in PE.

There is/was a consulate type person in PE, not sure if they are still in Mckay Street? Maybe they moved to Ring Road. Otherwise the 1820 Organization has someone who helps with this so you could ask them. They also help with courier etc.

First you get citizenship, then you get the passport.

@Earthtree
Can't use the consulate here any longer for applications.

That link will work, very easy process overall, follow the guide and requirements. It's all done via courier now. Not cheap either.

You must have all the original birth certificates for you and your dad. No abridged versions.
