I need three UK spec kettle plugs. Anybody know where to buy that in GP?

Thanks

Any hardware shop should also have the adaptors if you're in a hurry?

I just ended up putting these dotted strategically around the house..

Pretty sure Builders Warehouse should have stock of those.

Do you need three rewirable UK type flat pin plugs or you need adapter plugs to fit UK plugs in ?
As Gregorgy says, many people might have them lying around in the garage or somewhere. I could donate the UK rewirable plugs, but live 300 KMs from Jo'burg. They were using UK type sockets still widely in Botswana years ago.
The travel adapter are also available from large supermarkets, and places like Game.

Ja - if he needs them and specifically them, he is welcome to mine - trade-for-beer etc. But that'll leave him short 2. Maybe someone here has 3.

Cool. Thanks for the offers guys.

I'll give the builder's warehouse suggestion a shot first - will be easier than bugging 3 different people for theirs. :)

hmm...come to think of it I might just have one already.

Thanks PB

Not really interested in travel adapters since its a permanent installation. I guess I can buy them that side...but I'd like to have my PC up and running from day 1 without having to hunt through shops for cables.

They're pretty easy to find.

Not sure why you don't just buy a new PC, or kettle :), there instead of schlepping one over.

Fwiw this is what I put together for the missus for when we go over.

Not sure there will be an electronics shop near me tbh. :o I'll do that as a last resort but would be good to have one now already.

Company is paying for the schlepping, whilst I would be paying for a new PC. Its a bit silly yes, but works out better for me.

That's funny....I was gonna post a nearly identical on that I made for UK and Malawi

Makes life easy :) especially the one here for when UK visitors come for a visit.
