Capcom vs Marvel 3 has officially lunched on steam yay:D, is there anyone who tried to play it online and if so is it playable?
Want to know before buying it.

I'm still downloading my copy, but I'll have a look when I'm done.

I read one or two reviews of this game, and they say that the PC port has its issues.

Like, controller support is not that great. It works, but not reliably. So, I'm not buying it until they have sorted that out.

There is another reason I'm not buying it now. I bought the original MvsC3 for my Xbox 360 probably back in 2011 and paid R556 for it back then (still have the invoice from Kalahari). Now, its 6 years later and they want me to pay R399 for a port of the same game? Um no, I'm not paying that for a 6 year old game. It may be a port, but it just isn't worth R399 to me.

I'll pick it up when it comes on sale.

I enjoy games like this. When they announced Mortal Kombat 9 for PC I was the happiest man alive that day.
I don't have any consoles so I've never had or played this game before.
I always been PC gamer mainly because I prefer keyboard & mouse over any controller and you know pc is the master race :p.

Am sure there is issues with the game most new releases doesn't matter if it's ported or not has problems. But am also sure it will be sorted out with updates eventually.

I just want to know really if you can play it online. Mortal Kombat 9 and 10 are unplayable online and am bored with the single player. I know for a fact this game single player is going to get boring very quickly.

With MK10's last update, the online is much more playable since they reworked the netcode to match that of the console counterpart. I suggest you try it out again if you haven't in the past 6 months :)

I ran into Steam issues where it refused to download the game. I eventually got it downloaded when I queued some other things as well, but only had about 15 minutes to muck about in-game...so I still haven't tried the mp.

There is a popular youtuber who covers fighting games (I forget his name but I think it is Maximillian or something).

Anyway, he has done a series of videos on UMVSC3 on Steam and Xbox One, and says that the net code went from terrible to great. They patched it or something, or brought more servers online.
