Ultrawide gaming

I am sure it will

2 things though:

Price on those quite serious
You must have a 1080 at least to drive it.

I just want to know if anybody has experience on 21:9 monitors with mix use between day to day windows and games.

Not for everyone, personally it gives me motion sickness.

I have the LG. And I enjoy it. Most games work with it, just some weird glitches on Dota..

I can't argue about the price but you can run 3440x1440 with a 1070.
I have 3x 1080p screens in surround running at 6000x1080 (after bezel correction) and let me tell you, some games don't do ultra wide very well. Those that do work (like GTA V) is a joy to behold, though.

When it comes to work, the triple monitors work well, easily maximizing apps to a specific monitor. Never worked on a ultrawide, though.

A good resource for widescreen gaming is the games list on http://www.wsgf.org/. You can check all known issues there.

I have small (23") 21:9 and gaming on it is pretty cool, assuming the game in question supports it (most do, but when they don't it can be a real struggle getting it to display @ full HD, dependant on the game engine).

For day to day use, it's great, as it's much more comfortable side-by-siding Excel docs, browser, etc.

I have been looking at this monitor for productivity dev/web dev. I'm not a gaming geek so I thought I could drive this with a Macbook Pro, am I smoking the cheap stuff?
