Umbraco

I've toyed with it a bit, yes. I like it more than DNN, but prefer SilverStripe (which isn't based on ASP.NET). I haven't found a better open source .NET-based CMS than Umbraco though...

It looks good but damn, can be a bit tricky to get it setup and working as you want with all the features you want!

The asp.net website makes use of Umbraco. They don't use the free version, but still, that gives a lot of credibility to the platform!

I have built 100's of sites in umbraco :)

Can you help me create a image gallery for the thing? Don't want to spend too much time on this as I won't really get money for this.

I need to redo this website (www.bullrefs.co.za) and want to do it with Umbraco. I already got a news section up and running. Just want the gallery done, then I the rest should go quickly.

Move the site to a Linux host and pop Joomla in there - quick and easy and local support to :)

Good luck with this, and if you get it right, shoot us/me a link. I played with Umbraco for a bit, but you really have to know your XSL(T). I'm also partial to SilverStripe, but it's written in PHP.

@FarligOpptreden: Are you on the dev mailing lists? There's a lot of talk about 3.0 at the mo.

Umbraco or SilverStripe mailing list? I'm on the former, not the latter... Luckily I know (and LOVE) my XSLT, so that side of Umbraco shouldn't be a problem for me. Again, I prefer SilverStripe though. Easier to implement and opens up a world of customization even for those not so well versed in PHP.
