S2 done & dusted. What a cracker of a season! Ticked every box & then some. Rides well onto the positive reception of S1 & pulls into a high gear for S2.
The 60's setting + more focused time travel elements really made it stand out.
Add in a dope soundtrack, stellar ensemble cast, likeable characters & a healthy amount of humour & I'm sold hook & all.
210's ending beautifully sets up S3.

Yup, for me personally, this was a master piece , im waiting for the apple music soundtrack playlist , tried shazaaming each track, but a few got lost.
Waiting now in anticipation to see if a season 3 will be coming, although, they would be silly not to make a season 3

I had high expectations, it didn't disappoint.
Saw 5 episodes at first and I found it to be brilliant. First season seemed more slow and sombre at times. Completed on Sunday...
I watched the first 5 of season 1. I've lost interest. It's all interesting I suppose as it's intended to hook you to see what happens next or to understand why.
The problem is that I end up skipping a minute or two between scenes because the sad truth is that an episode should actually be around 25 to 35 minutes max.
When a series or movie fills time by adding in popular music you know it isn't that good, objectively speaking. Human psychology will consider it enjoyable but that's the music effect.
Compare a series like this to ozark, or maybe better to compare to mad men. They are different, but with real depth.

I enjoyed season 2. Although it took the whole weekend. STarted on episode 1 only to realize despite the excitement of waiting for it to return, I could not remember how it ended. So I had to watch the last episode and soon realized i needed context and hardly remembered anything.
So I started from season 1 ep 1 and went through the whole 2 seasons. I was not disappointed. Now to wait for The Boys season 2 next month

I still haven't watched S2 cuz I also don't remember too much about what happened in S1. I have to start from scratch and I'm dithering.

“The Umbrella Academy” will be back in action for a third season.
Netflix has officially renewed the popular superhero show for a third outing. News of the renewal comes just over three months after season 2 launched as the most-watched show on all of streaming in its first week, per Nielsen.
The third season, which will once again consist of 10 hourlong episodes, is set to begin production in Feb. 2021 in Toronto, Canada.
Season 2 cast members returning for season 3 include Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore. Steve Blackman (whose other credits include “Fargo” and “Altered Carbon”) will return as showrunner and executive producer.
