Unable to cancel Vodacom data contract

I have been struggling since Friday to cancel my Vodacom data contract. The guys at the retention dept are more interested in selling ma an upgrade. I spent an hour on Friday and 30 minutes today speaking to the retentions dept again without any help.

Why talk to them? Tell them to cancel and ask for a reference number.
