Unable to create RAS entry

Hi

I am using an E620 data card on windows vista operating system.
When using the fastlink interface o connect i get an error message
"Unable to create RAS Entry"
Does anyone know a fix for this

RAS = Remote Access to Server

There is a setup problem somewhere. Make sure you u select the default connection on the software. Hope it helps

vista often messes up all RAS connections, Just reboot, it will fix it.

just create a dial up through windows
start
control panel
network and sharing center
set up a new connection or network
set up a dial up connection
choose the hauwei modem
phone number *99#
no username
no password
connection name
datacard connection or bob which ever you'd prefer
connect

but there is a firmware available to download

but if you don't have internet access the dial up thru windows best first option
