Unable to register pre-owned car

I bought a pre-owned car from a dealer in pre-owned cars, but now they have informed me that the vehicle cannot be registered because of outstanding fines and warrant of arrest for previous owner. Is this possible? What are the steps that i can take to ensure that the registration process are completed?

That's a tough one but you wouldn't want to deal with that so rather take it up with the dealer either to fix that mess or refund

What a load of crock. Tell them to stop lying. Neither of those reasons would hold back a vehicle registration.

I would ask for my money back. Do you really want this vehicle that badly?
