Unable to Reset Guild Wars Account

Hi all.

So I've played GW in the past, and recently purchased GW2. I cannot remember my GW password, and when attempting to register my email for GW2, I receive a notification stating that my email account is already linked to GW - figures... So I reinstalled GW, but when selecting the Reset option, I receive a notification stating the the service is unavailable.

Can anyone else here reset their accounts via GW? Is there perhaps a web-based route I can follow to reset my account?

The problem is, the web based account option requires you to login with your password. I am referring to your gw2 account site. Unfortunetely I do not know of any other option, hopefully someone else does.

Otherwise I would suggest you contact support. Give them all your details - name, address, telephone number, email used, even the code you used when installing and linking. With those details, they at least have someone to contact in case a dispute arises. Though they would have dealt with this from others, so I am sure they will help you and sort out your password. The bottom line is you have access to the old email address, so it should be a matter of time only.
 
Took me 3 weeks to get my e-mail address for my account changed, and lots of e-mails to support - luck ...
