Persistent problem when travelling and connecting through wireless networks. Tried changing Outgoing Sever port to 587 as per MWEB website but no success. Using Outlook 2010. All in our company have this problem. MWEB haven't replied to my email on their help link. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

What ever the wireless network you are using will be your out going server , EG. if vodacom it will be vodacom.co.za .

Thank you FNfal. How do I determine which network/service provider the hotel I am staying in is using?

You need to change your smtp server to relay.mweb.co.za and choose use same log in details as pop server

Tried that too (was also on their website) but not working. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I think it's smtpauth.mweb.co.za, using your account details to log in.

relay.mweb.co.za as smtp
tick the authentication box
same as incoming logon

Also I suspect you didn't change the port back to 25
If this doesn't work you need to contact their support desk to activate this on your email account.

Thnx Psion. Port is 25. Repeatedly get a popup bix asking me to ebter user name and password even though already entered in the box. Even tried using the full email address as per MWEB but no success. Have contacted them again. Wilk let you know outcome if I get a reply.
