I switched (ported) to Rain one a year ago and all was fine, now for the last week I cannot send SMS and the calls go straight to voice mail. Tried customer care but they just transfer me to their voice calls department where you hang on for 15min+. Now 10 calls and four days later, Im still unable to sms and actually pick up my calls. though I receive notice that I was called. I also receive SMS from other rain customers and OTP from my bank etc. but cannot reply (error 38) I have tried the sim in other phones same story -no sms. Different LTE sim in this phone and it works perfectly fine (so not the phone)
Rain support are no help at all and even argued that I am not supposed to be able to SMS and use Whatsapp on this sim (data sim only) though the sim is one of the two voice sims I received as part of my RAIN ONE deal and includes 100 free SMS.
Trying to set up whatsapp on the phone after one support agent told me the phone was at fault and I had to do a factory reset, and am unable to do so cause I cannot receive number confirmation sms or call.
Please help.
