i was successfully migrated, and logged in to find i had just over 3 gigs of bandwidth available at the beginning of the month. one gig was carried over from a purchase on the 28th or 29th of last month, so even with a 30 day roll-over, it should still be there. but this morning, after experiencing painfully slow page loads, i logged in to check the remaining bandwidth. it showed that i had used 1,8 gigs, and had 12 megs available. logging in now it shows:
Downloaded 0
Uploaded 0
Total 0
Remaining 0
Purchased 0
Carried over 0

WTF? this is like the 30th time i get a zero result from their system. and i'm supposed to trust their accounting? at least i didn't pay R199-00 for an extra gig this morning, but then again, where is it?

i have been suspicious in the past that my bandwidth had been mysteriously disappearing, but was not as pedantic as another user to document how it was disappearing on an hourly basis. there is no way i have gone through a gig of bandwidth in 12 hours. especially when i haven't even had the connection active. i mailed iburst about this issue at the end of last month, but have only received their standard automated response.

and then, the final gripe i have, is that the electronic billing option is a farce. i sent through a request from the iburst website, while logged in to my user account, and requested a statement. i was notified i would have it within 24 hours. a week later, i get a mail from their accounts department stating that in order to do that, they would need my account number and username. what's the point of doing this online then? surely the backend of their system should collect those details?

while their service my have gotten slightly better, their accounting is screwed. and instead of spending hours on the phone trying to speak to someone useful, or sending emails to no avail, i thought perhaps posting in the public forums would get me some kind of result. it seems to be the only thing they do respond to judging by their activity in these forums...
