I only use Firefox with ABP, it's unlikely to be infected.

I don't think an ad blocker is going to save you from malware...

My father-in-law does not have or use online-banking - old school.
We going to the bank to check his account.

FNB may be an option with their new App Based 2FA.

On a side note, uninstall ABP and install uBlock Origin. ABP is total crap compared to it, both in terms of performance and the ethics of the developer.
