Does anyone know if it is possible to unbrick this router?

Currently I have a solid red light, I have tried the recovery tool on the Netgear website, but it doesn’t work.
So does anyone have any other ideas?

If it’s not possible, it’s cool, I was planning on throwing it away.

The only thing that modem is good for is as a WiFi AP.

When I replaced the church's Netgear DG834GUv5 with a D-Link DSL-2500U their ADSL connection immediately became stable. Now I'm using the Netgear just as a WiFi AP.

Yeah that's exactly what I wanted to use it for.
