Unbundle Eskom to drive down electricity prices

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) has lodged a complaint with the Competition Commission to seek its recommendation to fine and unbundle Eskom.

Just seems to me like it will create TWO organisations with which shady deals can be arranged as opposed to one.

At the end of the day they will remain government owned and protected by law against any other entrants into the industry... hence they'll remain a fsckup.

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) has lodged a complaint with the Competition Commission to seek its recommendation to fine and unbundle Eskom.

That isn't going far enough IMO.

Make Eskom the power generation entity.
Then place the distribution of electricity under provincially managed companies instead of state run companies.
