Uncapped 25Mbps for R275 per month

MTN basically doubled the price of our entry 4G package in a couple of years. They did upgrade the 20/20 to 30/30, but in reality throttled us to death until recently.

Don't trust such offers too quickly.

So now all (or most) MyBB publishing staff are collectively called "Newsfeed"?

Hmm... maybe a good thing, pity about the general quality impression it will bring though.

Yea I would not touch this.

Afrihost has their FUP but it does not matter mtn will throttle you how mtn sees fit they don't care about the contract they have with afrihost. Afrihost also never states this on their website that mtn will throttle you outside their own FUP terms

For the 25Mbps product, customers get full speed for the first 50GB. After that, the connection is limited to 10Mbps for the next 30GB of usage, at which point it is throttled to 2Mbps.

On the other end of the scale, the Wireless Plus package offers unrestricted speeds for the first 300GB. In other words, they get the maximum speed supported by Comsol’s 5G-Advanced network.

After exceeding the 300GB threshold, speeds are limited to 20Mbps. Subscribers then get another 50GB of usage before being throttled to 4Mbps for the rest of the month.

Yeah, so one day

Pretty much a useless product for anyone in 2026.

Not sure what Afrihost is thinking with this one tbh.

Still waiting for Afrihost to

50GB wouldn't even last me a day.
Yup, I've done almost 700GB so far this month on MTN 5G (Afrihost) and so far today over 20GB, and I'm not even doing much to reach that 20GB, just normal browsing and few a videos.

Can't see this Comsol product lasting very long.

Uncapped simply doesn't work with wireless technologies. There's no better way to disappoint your customers than to promise them uncapped 5G.
